PAPUA NEW GUINEA / DPLGARural Service Delivery Project · Phase 2

News & stories

Four components. One shared purpose.

Project explainer: infrastructure, capacity, project support and disaster response work together in Phase 2.

A group gathered outdoors for an RSDP partnership event.

Phase 2 comprises four complementary components: community subprojects; community and local government capacity; project management, monitoring and learning; and contingent disaster response.

Subprojects are supported by training and practical coordination across national, provincial and local teams. Monitoring and reporting help track delivery, while procurement and safeguards form part of project support.

The disaster response component includes disaster and climate awareness and support at ward level. Together, these components support the wider objective of resilient services and participatory local governance.
